Im with budget insurances and taken out a year for £1200.
if i want any mods (bodykit) i have to cancel my insurance and start a new 1. well thats wot they said.

Wot can i do.
Put a kit on but dont tell the insurance bout it?????

risky business if you dont declare things to the insurance people but im sure that many people do it. do it at your own risk and try not to crash and claim anything!

I'm to impatiant 2 wait till nxt year for a bodykit.... i have the money ready and waiting..... just cant tell the insurance till nxt yr

is your policy a brand new one?
if you havent been with them too long then quickly cancel your policy. if youve been with them for a while, stick with it until you get a year of no claims.

i didnt have anything covered when i was with direct line but now im with adrian flux who seem to understand that puttin a kit on dont make me drive like a cunt!!!
so now everthin done AND planned is covered!!

phone around n see what the prem is with the mods, if u think they are reasonable, ask ur insurer about how much u will get back if u cancel.
as far as I know, they have to refund any months that have not been used, provided you have not made a claim in anyway, they'll also deduct admin charges or sum crap like that, so make sure you know exactly what is due, and how much they are taking off.
too risky to fit kit without informing insurance, it's not just how u drive, u gotta watch out for everything, most of which u have no control over

^ dunno who your with, but Im with Vauxhall's insurance, and if u declare it as Cosmetic, then it doesn't cost anything
