Right lads i just drilled my air box. It absoulultly brilliant. the roar is an amazing difference. I think its a bit quicker to but thats probably just me wishing it was. its only a 1.2 8v.
Right my questions
1. Do i need the hot air feed from the exhaust? i have taking it off.
2. Do i need the cold air feed piece that comes on the car? I also taken this off.
3. Theres a wire than was going to a thing inside the air box that is some sort of flap of some sort. do i leave this wire on? Whats it for? i have also left this off?
Some answers wqould be greatly appreciated.

dont worry about any of it mate, try and give the box a good cold air feed though.

i used to have an 8v too. i drilled my airbox but left all of that plugged in and it worked fine. make sure you get a good cold air feed.

for some reason mine doesent work have u's drilled filter box or air circuliton box

Loose warm air feed.
Add cold air feed
and red vacuum pipe block it up

ive been driving around all evening hardly any petrol left at this stage
the sound is just brilliant
next thing is to get some cold air feeds in a block up that other pipe
its only when u take it apart u see how restrictive of a setup it is
would recomend it to anyone to do it.

got more mods than me. this is my second 1. only had this 1 a week so only drilled airbox and put in CD player. lowered & 17s after the MOT in a few weeks time. want to make sure it doesnt scrub on the arches and fail you see!
