I am thinking about lowering my car and maybe changing the wheels. What sort of a drop will work on the front/rear of a corsa c? It's on 15's at the moment and i'm 90% sure I want to keep it on 15's unless anyone thinks moving up to 16's would be of benefit. I still want it to be speed bump friendly etc so I don't want to slam it too low. What does everyone think?

I reckon about 40mm, you could go lower but bumps always seem to be a problem. I think 15s would look ok aswell with a 40mm drop

Would it need lower profile tyres to make sure that the wheels don't scrub?

I dont think it matters what profile you have, you could either get 45 or 50, its just how wide the wheels are

45 will alow you to lower about 10mm before the catch

if it was me id get 45 profile tyres on with a 60mm drop. it will get over most speed bumps i would imagine. 40mm never looks low enough in my opinion.

I think i'll go back to the original plan and save up for some coilovers will take longer but I think the results will be better. I can only find koni coilovers for the corsa c though. Does anybody have a link to any other brands?

40mm apex springs IMO.
will have no probs wiv 16s or 17s on a C as i have this.
