Looking for advantages and disadvantages of Apple Mac PCs guys.
past/present experiances relating to software/hardware, easy to use, common faults etc.
looking into purchasing one just seeing what people think of them

macs onlyt good when it comes to design in my eyes, and to look pretty. toehrwise not worth the extra money

just a fashion accessory that advantages a pc of graphics design and music/video editing, nothing more really

Im working on an Apple Mac G4 at the mo, they are SHIT, because its a PC based world they suck as they are not compatable with most things or you need sofware to run windows stuff.

i dunno, i bught my apple mac for 550 brand new, faster than most my mates pc's at anything, and comes with loads of video, picture and music editiing stuff. in my opinion, to actually use them is easier than a pc, and they crash less and break less and cost around the same

We use them at work, and ive got to say they are better than PC.
Faster, look better, more reliable.
But
No games and not a huge range of software like their is for pc. Plus they are pricey

Program loading.
Mainly when it comes to video/audio/image editing. Loads files/effects/edits quicker

More responsive, pause less, that type of thing.
I was after this one just as I don't currently own one, finished at over 100 though, my budget was 80 or so.
