Got horrid red drums on the corsa
Wanting to change them to discs but GMC says no real need to as all the power is at the front so as long as my front brakes are working its ok

Anybody else think differently or agree with GMC?

got those willwood jobbies on the front

no need on a car of your power to do it, and all the ones ive heard about make the back very twitchy under braking

i've driven brosters car, and his brakes are much better than mine, his braking is more progressive, and the backs dont lock up as easily as my drums do

he also agrees from when he drove my car at trax, he said that the back locked very easily under heavy braking

and they look good too

the reason ppl have trouble with rear drums on corsa is because well we lower our carsat the back alot and dont adjust the bias valve which has big impact on how rear brakes work, effectively ur telling the rear of the car u have 3 peeps in the rear when lowered and u aint.

my m8's nova has rear discs which is same thing and he has spun on roundabouts couple of times beacuse of the rear discs.

ive kept drums as i dont this its worth it like jr said and ive made my own adjustment to the bias valve and fitted uprated drum pads and new drums recently which is plenty good enough.

just for looks in my opinion.

My pal does things at his work for me so price is ok
Was just seeing if it would improve the car or not

Think will stick with the drums the now!

Cheers folks!

As long as rear disks bias is set correct then there is no problem using rear discs.
