Hello all,

I've just rung my local vauxhall dealers for the price of 5 litres of engine oil and an oil filter for my 1.7 diesel corsa. I was quoted £20.15 for the oil and £9.28 for the filter -all inc VAT. My local motor factors quoted roughly half those prices and told me that the oil I need is semi synthetic. Is that right? and why the big price difference?
