Ive got a 1.4 8v corsa (1995) and recently it has been struggling to start first time. The engine is turning over but i have to pump the accelerator pedal constantly for about 30 seconds before the engine will start. After that the engine judders for about another 30 seconds before idling normally. Also the car has started juddering when im driving along and occasionally stalling. Once its been started once its fine (it will start again afterwards) but still judders as im driving.
I have tryed searching for an answer but cant find anything similar.
Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

Took it down to vauxhall to get an opinion and they said its most likely to be the coolant temp sensor. Got a new one for £10.19 and replaced it. All seems well so far apart from one little judder. Hopiong for a cold wet night then the real test will be if it starts first time with no problems.
Thanks for all the help guys

Wouldn't vauxhall have suggested this if it is a likely suspect tho?? (no offence to you Rob).
Just got back and they wanna charge £45 for a diagnostic test

I'm gonna try give it a good servicing tommorow if the weather holds up. Oil change, new oil filter, spark plugs, lambda sensor (been told this could be causing the problems), fuel filter and coolent. Even if it doesnt fix it, it cant do any harm
