Ive bridged the connection between my wireless on onboard network card and just plugged the normal 360 Cat5 cable in and it works.

If you download the media centre plugin from xbox.com and share the folders on your PC then yes

got them linked now, but it wont let me view ANY pictures from my pc on my xbox? any ideas?

I'm assuming you've shared the pictures with Media Connect?
