i didn't think i'd be too bothered, as i haven't used my ps2 in about a year, but i badly want one now that GTA4 is out.
also played online cod4 at a mates recently which was ace too. plus gt5 
they're all like £300 with 1 controller + 1 game.
cheapest i've seen is £290 i think.
anyone know of anywhere cheaper than this?
(i'm quite tight)

well mate is your mobile contract up for renewal soon??? Carphone warehouse do one on a £35 a month contract on orange with a mobile aswell. get ps3 for free  That how I got mine was so happy as mobile contract run out the month i got the new one and even better they did the contract type I was already on for the same price I was on orange dolphin 35 with orange and moved it to carphone warehouse and got the ps3 for free. Would defo recommend it

I called gamestation to trade in my slimline ps2 and they offered me £50 if boxed and with everything!! told them its worth more then that!!!!! They said they would only offer that as they getting loads in!!! so keep it put it in a spare room and get a mobile contract from carphone warehouse. best way.

damn it!! how long ago was that?? I only ogt my ps3 couple of months back maybe should try ringing round few other gamestations see if one has less ps2s being sold back!!

my ps2 is a fat black one, so probs not worth much, but there's about 12 games i think.
only worth about £50-80 then?
phone contract's not a bad idea, and at least that would be like installments. I'm not due a new one, but i could flog the phone, lose the sim, cancel after 12 months? or is it a longer contract?

£630 if free with phone contract, (18mnth), and poor selection of phones would only get back about £80-100, plus the extra hassle negates that idea. cheers though.

yeah but look at it this way you have a contract phone and you pay £35 a month so really you are still gonna pay that £35 a month so after 18 months you have still spent:
275 + £35 x18 months making grand total of: £905.00
or the car phone warehouse way is £630 including a sim with unlimited texts and a phone (which you could sell for cash) which was what I did and made 75 quid.so end total: £630 - £75 = £555
Hmmmm plus my way you dont have to spend £300 quid at once!!!
Was just a suggestion. only works well if you due soon for upgrade on phone
