On the recommendation of a few people on here I upgraded my iPhone to version 2.0.2 using winpwn. Has anyone else noticed that this makes your phone shit, slow and that applications don't work?

I never had anything like this with the so called bodge that Ziphone's meant to be...

Any tips on what might be up?

2.0.2 is shit! I upgraded a few days ago and I'm going do downgrade to 1.1.4 if the Apple event on next tuesday dosn't bring a bunch of updates.

Texting is slow and many of the apps are crashing constantly.

I was thinking I'd just go back to 1.1.4, but I've been using remote a bit and it's really useful. I can go without for a bit though I guess because it's damn annoying!

I couldn't think of a better phone Robbo. It's the best phone I have ever owned.

Yeah, Remote is a truly awesome app! But then, I do miss SwirlyMMS on 2.0.2... There dosn't seem to be an MMS app for the new firmware.

Yeah I'm on 2.0.1 and texting is really slow sometimes as are other things. Turning it on and off sorts it for a bit, hopefully they will sort it soon.

Thanks for your useless input there Deano.

And Joe, I've been turning it on and off for a few days now. It does solve the problems, but it is slightly silly isn't it

Did anyone run 2.0.1 and have the same problems, I have sat on my computer at the moment 1.1.4, 2.0.1 and 2.0.2 to choose from. I might just sit tight and hope for an update? Apple are great at not telling people there are problems with their stuff and releasing updates to repair unspecified issues though. It would be nice to see what you're actually getting when you update

Yeah I had 2.0.1 with the problems, I'm just about to put 2.0.2 on now. It is silly to switch it on and off but there isn't really another way.

Reading on the internet, the 3g iPhone has the same issues aswell which doesn't bode well.

I'm still on 1.1.4 - never upgraded.

I want to now, but now this puts me off.

My touch is on 1.1.4, I'd like to upgrade to 2.x but not if I can't jailbreak it using iLiberty+

Aye I updated to the new 2.02 thing and it's complete baws. When texting it takes a few seconds to catch up, and usually it catches up and changes everything I've typed!

You're Scottish - how can you tell if it's messed up or not?!
