I have a Sony KDL40V4000
I dont currently have an aerial set up so i dont know what the picture is like for freeview or normal TV.
At the moment i am playing PS3 games with a HDMI cable, and playing DVDs throguh a normale player.
Is it normal to see a slight blur when people move fast on dvds, The TV is in a small room and i sit about 2 metres from it. I was told that this is the reason you notice the blur as i should be atleast 3 metres back. Also the picture through a scart wont be great.
I have also noticed that when playing games like fifa even in 1080p, you still see some blur on the ball and the players when they move quickly. (though very minor) Again is this normal when sitting too close, or is this some crap Sony centre is telling me.

Don't know the answer, but why don't you play DVDs through the PS3, out of interest?

How long is the TV on for when its doing this? My LCD takes half an hour to warm up before it starts getting sharper and brighter. LCD do leave trails on fast moving images, Plasmas dont.
