that would be good, then just script it to check what device it is then point it to a mobile version, strip out avatars also would be good.

dont do a browser check imo, might prefer to use the normal site on my mobile device, make users go to a different domain if they want mobile version

this. its so annoying when you go on a website and it automatically directs you to the mobile version, then have to select the full site

Yeah I'll leave the browser checking to the user in deciding what URL they use.
You'll still need www. because I don't intend re-programming anything more than reading and posting.
