i have x4xe on a v reg

my car was running all day yesterday starting fine.

i have come to start it today and it will not spark everything else is working fine it just wont turn over.

any ideas?

Possibly crank sensor. Do you have the Engine Management Light on the dash?

the engine management light was on anyway because of the egr, but i have been told crank sensors are quite tempromental?

They are a common fault on corsas. Try the paperclip test and see what comes up.
