Wasn't Three formed by some of the people that founded Orange BTW?

Customer service isn't the best, though I can't think of any company which does an outstanding job.
Their network on the other hand is excellent.

Yup, the very same people - Hutchison Whampoa. They formed it in 93, it got sold to Mannesmann (D2 in Germany at the time) then we bought them so for a short time (3 months or so), we actually owned Orange It was us who sold it to France Telecom, the current owners. In 2001 Hutchison Whampoa founded 3 (Hutchison 3G). We also bought their business in India

I just wish I'd gone for the 32gb version as I've run out of space with only half my music collection
Just put a 32gb memory card in it and you'll have 48 then.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Think i'm going to buy a white iPhone 4 outright when they're released next week and stick a GifGaff sim in it when my contract runs out the month after. Do they use o2's network?
Yup!
Cool. Gone o2 > Tesco > GifGaf. I'll use your link when the time comes.

Yeah, iPhone 5. Current rumour is that it won't be getting release in June/July and instead it's scheduled for a fall 2011/spring 2012 release. Kinds of makes sense if the white iPhone is getting release at the end of the month/start of May.

Edit - Back to topic, can't say i've ever used Three for 2G but their 3G is pretty decent from the dongle i used.

My own perosnal opinion (obv influenced by the fact that i work for a mobile phone company) is that Apples plan for the 4 was release iPhone 4> release white > release cdma > release iPhone 5
Now theyve doen 1 and 3, we know they can do 2 as you can get a white ipad so IMO, they will now release a white 4 (3 are jumping the gun but its clearly coming) and then wait until just before xmas (ta-da!) to release an all singing all dancing GSM/CDMA 5, possibly featuring NFC (the market needs Apple to take the lead on this IMO) and whatever other features (64GB PLEASE!). Afterall, theyve only just got Verizon people onto it from beginning of Feb so changing now is going to seriosuly piss Verizon and its customers off plkus a pre-xmas release would spark a holiday season frenzy. One single world-capable iPhone would preusmably save them a lot of money also, but not sure how possible that is

4G to follow in the iPhone 6 or whatever, as still too soon even for US market IMO
