On tick over the revs are all over the place dropping as low as 200rpm, and when driving feels like a big loss of power, 1 min oit will be fine then next its as if it has no spark when driving any ideas? Could it be crankshaft or cam shaft sensor?

No eml light, I cleaned the AFM was caked in shit

Oh it also has a power box but thats been on for a while and its been fine untill this problem occurred

But it runs fine one minute will tick over fine and then next minute really lumpy on tick over, cuts out and sometimes when driving it has no power when i put my foot down

yep, exactly what mine was like, well mine was miles out, due to the crank pulley being loose, also was over fueling like fuck too

have you had it plugged into Tech2 at all??

I've checked the timing, swapped crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor still no joy! And I tried plugging it into a diagnostics machine but it won't read my ecu just says communication error, but the eml light is not on :/

Cleaning the AFM doesn't normally sort the problem, run the car with it unplugged and see if the problem gets worse and stays the same.
