Goona have a go at changing the fuel tank on my corsa today but i have a question.
It say in the haynes manual that the fuel system should be de-pressurised and says to unplug the fuel relay.
I think i have found the fuel relay but just wanted to double check.
This is what i found going by the haynes manual a purple bosch plug.Is this it its above the ecu in the drvers footwell???

Im back with a couple Qs
First one is anyone know what the best way to reconnect the hand brake cable its just wont reach and iv tried pulling as much as i can with pliers to reconnect it.

And the other is when removing the exhaust heat shield the 4 bolts snapped and not really sure on how im gonna re attach the heat shield without having to pull all the carpet up and having to drill them out and use some bolts.
Any ideas??

Just go without heatshields imo. Handbrake, the lever is in the down position isnt it? Easy mistake ha.
Otherwise your have to fuck about adjusting it.

Might have a go at pulling the carpet up and drilling the old bolts out whats left of them.
The chemical metal idea didn't work

I'm not so sure drilling the current ones out will work, plus it wont be single skin in those areas.
12v corsa's dont have any heat sheilds.

We pull the heatshields off all the time in the garage, there all prone to rotting and rattling on the exhaust, as long as it doesnt look like its protecting a fuel tank etc, away it goes
