What's the script when it comes to burning the above? do I need a jazzy DVD burner or will my standard burner on the laptop do the job?

Also am I correct in saying ill need blank blu-ray disk's?

You'll need a blu-ray burner rather than a DVD burner.

You can downscale for DVD, which will require you to convert the video, but you're not going to be able to author HD material on DVD as it's SD. As mentioned, you'll need to use Blu-ray/BD so you'll need a BD burner and media.
