can anyone explain to me why the wheel spins in neutral?

i have no idea! some scooters also do this they run on tick over weird!
yes it is the outer cv joint its well fuked

yeah but thats the automatics that are connected straight to the engine aint it?

yeh but theres still a gear box and clutch isnt there even tho its auto
