I would have thought so but thtas just a guess...most technology is backwards compatible these days

cool, i was hoping so as i cant get ADSL2+ yet, so need it to work with ADSL (2mb)

just googled "ADSL2 routers" and found this - have a lookat the features

EDIT: this shows that the technology is backwards compatible but check the spec etc of which router you choose before handing over any cash

but looking at spec it says its ADSL2+ protocol? surely this will work but at the lower speeds?
