(On my laptop at the moment)
My PC wont find the network, its a D-Link one & when its searching it has a little D that changes colours. At the moment its flashing red/white
Under network connections if I click on "view available wireless networks" it finds our network. If I try to connect to it it just tries to & then stops
Switched off my PC, the router & unplugged everything & reconnected it
The network is fine on other PC's. Currently sat next to my pc & I have "excellent" signal strength
Tried a few bits & bobs to get it to connect but Im stuck
Anyone have any ideas?

Might be filtered by MAC address.
Can you get in to the router config from any other computer?

Start Run cmd
ipconfig /all
Paste the results.
Also what is the model number of the D Link box?

are you putting your password in as one of the Keys the router provides to you or as the word you entered for your password (this is encrypted and keys are generated from it)
