As you can see in the pic, the part which is circled seems to have something missing from it which I think maybe causing me problems. When I start my car up it doesn't want to and won'y go apst 250 revs and misfires. When I put my fut down to the floor and redline it in neautral it seems to clear something and is fine. It happens when I'm driving at times as well, just doesn't want to accelarate so I put my foot down both clutch and accelarator and then it's fine, happens every 5-10 minutes or so.
Does anyone know what the part is and what it should be connected to? Could this be what's causing the problem, I've been told I might need an air flow meter and wondering if this is still the case.
Thanks and sorry for the essay

Yep 1.4 16V. Do you think it could be a reason for why i'm having trouble accelarating and starting up Daz?

Yep. That your fuel preasure regulator. Have a look arround the area for a pipe with nothing on it. It'll need connecting to the inlet top manifold.
