After a new laptop, nothing amazing want to spend around £400 max. Seen the Acer 5520 which looks pretty good.

Any other options?

Go and find me an equivalent brand new apple mac notebook, thats even close to equivalent specs of a 400 quid dell system and i'll go and buy one myself.

I don't actually mind linx, I give it the odd go.

Never understood the apple appeal though apart from the apparent fashion one.

I've had no problems with Vista, other than Sky Sports website crashing, which could be unrelated.

Web, work, basic games (maybe) such as champ manager. Thats about it really, want it to be quick.

You'll be wanting a good processor and ram then if you want games.

Games like champ manager sap so much memory out of pc's from my experience.

I over specced my Dell laptop as they're not like pc's for ease of upgrading. So I made sure I'd never have to!
