whats the best way to make a false floor to cover the boot space and were the back seats use to be?

is it best to make a frame for the wood to sit on? or what have you done?

I would get some big sheets of card to make a template. Then bend it in the shape of the floor. Should give you a base to work from then. Then a wood frame would probably be your best bet. This is how I did the one for my boot
