I have only ever re formatted a pc once, but this laptop is constantly locking up, and getting memory dump errors.
The problem is, i do not have the cds no more, and the windows vista key is on the bottom on a sticker, but has worn away.
What can i do?
And is there a good guide i can print off to do a reformat.

If you cant see the key you might be able to ring the manufacturer and give them your serial number for a new key?

Ok thanks.
Ive just noticed, there is a feature called gateway recovery center, it says you can perform a complete pc reformat on it?
Ive used it to create 4 dics of recovery, which i assume has all the drivers etc on?
In not really to sure what to do :/
