Ive got the lead out the back and I cant release the spade connectors (think they are spades?) to swap the red and yellow wires around

Is there an easy way of doing it or a trick im not doing?

cut them, strip them, rejoin them

No way im cutting anything dont have a soldering kit and dont want to fuck it up.

Whats the best way of trying James? Ive tried pressing them through from the point end but i keep bending them, tried wobbling them from the wire end and stil not moving?

just tape them up, no need to solder em

Ive got a pair of pliers out atm, yanking on the wire or on the prong, doesnt matter what i do nothings happening All im doing is stripping the wires

But im swapping them round not putting them somewhere else, cutting the wires is all well and good but the connectors will still be lodged in there??

nope, looks like the only option is to chop the wires and cross them over, hardly the best option...

or buy an autoleads iso adapter and its done for you.

I nipped to Halfords to see if they had a tool in their fitting department for releasing the connectors but nothing, did tell me where to chop the leads though and something I didnt think of - swapping the fuses round after change the wires

use a needle to get the spades out
