Just got a new laptop for one of the shops and tried putting MS Office 2007 trial on it. When opening any documents it just crashes Word or whatever programme. Thinking it could of been the trial version I bought the full version (which I was going to get anyway) but its still doing the same.

Anyone any ideas?

That could be absolutely anything cosmo, no error messages or anything?

Do you have antivirus or anything else running?

All it says is 'Something has caused this program to stop working. Windows will shut it down....blah blah'

No error codes or more info

1st thing to do is uninstall it totally, restart, try installing again, with any av or the likes turned off, they cause loads of problems for some reason.

Have tried that when going from trial version to the full version.

Having a little search about Ive seen that deleting the Word Datakey will probably fix this. Worth a try
