Possibly be my new postcode soon, no cable services as of yet which means I will still be stuck in the dark ages with ADSL. However the local exchange is LLU enabled for AOL, Orange and Talk Talk. Apparently LLU means you can expect faster ADSL connections than normal? But ive been on their websites and I cant find anything where they are selling it, or even marketing it to me?

LLU doesn't always mean faster net but it normally does.
They are all terrible suppliers so I wouldn't be going with them.

Sam Knows is where i got the original info from John, so would I be better going with Virgin's ADSL service and then when/if they upgrade the area to cable then moving onto that package? The houses in the next estate have it as well, I know some people who live round there

No, don't touch virgin ADSL, worst ADSL and one of he worst comapnies overall I have ever dealt with.
It's very very doubtful they'll put cable in at any point in the near future, or at all, anyway.

Makes sense as we are both o2 customers....although they havent unbundled that exchange yet, which still means its done through BT's equipment = slowwwwww

Will do, have checked using their postcode search thing and it says No, so I tried their online helper window person and they just disappeared, so I guess I will have to call India and try to explain my enquiry.
