I need something where, when the customer checks out, can upload an image from their computer to complete the checkout.
Example scenario would be a T shirt printing website, where they want their logo on it, click buy on the t shirt, and then upload the logo. This image then gets sent via Email to me / backoffice.
I've got a plugin installed on an old version of Osc but its a bit shit, as Sam & I found out the other night.
So does anybody know of, or have any idea about where to get this plugin, I dont really want to pay a php programmer to make one. How much would this cost? Doesn't matter on what software, but Oscommerce would be preferable.
Thanks

That site is also an osC site - you could always ask them what they used?

There is a mod;
http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1540
Theres a large Support thread;
http://forums.oscommerce.com/topic/59589-contribution-file-uploads-as-an-option-feature/page__st__460
However, it looks so modded by various people in that thread, i've no idea which coding would be suitable for which version!
As for that site, the guy who owns it doesn't know i'm making mine yet Sam Might give that Sorce design an email

That's the problem with osC, people that make mods for it a lot of the time don't know what they're doing and so you have a whole load of people trying to "fix" things but end up breaking something else!

Judging by that script owners comments, I wouldn't spend £150 on it, let alone giving him £300 and server access.

Nah, i started with the osc.
I dont understand it tbh, i have no html coding blah blah blah experience, yet i built a site in both magento and osc.
Magneto is supposed to be near impossible for an inexperienced person to build, and osc is supposed to be ok.
I built a 1000x better site with magento and ound it simples, yet struggled for months with osc.

OSC and Zen needs some coding knowledge. Would only use something else if there were more templates for it.
Welsh, i wouldnt pay ££150 for an add on. Just swap to Zen.
Zen does it as standard. Because its far better

Just had a quick play in my shop.
added file upload. Took 5 mins.
gasworksair.co.uk/shop
goto accesories, then the top item. It now asks for a file upload as an Attribute.
OSC sucks ass!

Yes. Osc.
Don't change the fact that it's better.
