This is the current situation, I currently have a wireless internet connection around the house and I have this old school desktop that I want to use although unfortunately it is not wireless enabled. Any suggestions to get the internet working?

You can also get a PCI card if you don't want a USB stick poking out of your PC all the time, they are also cheaper than a USB stick as well.
