took my cam cover off to find three of the bolts wernt even done up just glued in as the threads were stripped does anyone no the best way to to fix this problem other than replacing the head its a c20xe

use a tap & dye set to re-groove the thread into the head ( if your a bit shakey handed, get someone who knows what there doing to help) and use new bolts

If the threads are stripped a tap isn't going to do anything, would be like puitting a baldy three incher up a prostitute with her 25 year service badge.
Helicoil or similair is the only option.
