A problem with all gears is a good sign, it means that its likely to be a clutch related problem which generally will be cheaper to fix..
Put the car in gear, disengage the hand brake and dip the clutch then see if someone can push the car, if the clutch is dragging you need to check the cable or slave/master cylinders are ok, if they are then the clutch its self could be faulty.

i took it to a garage and they said its the linkage and the clutch cable needs adjusting... £136 for linkage then fitting total:£200!!
so i found a bush on LMF £10 and a quick shift linkage on ebay £40 Total : £85-100 soo il check this cable or il just go with the quick shift
does any one no what a quick shift would be like to drive with every day use?
