They were offering a link at 10:30, 30 minutes before putting it on their website to all their Facebook fans of their clearance deals...
The website is now dead
Well done eBuyer!
P.S. link is http://www.ebuyer.com/search?limit=500&limit500&campaign=2121&sort=popularity&page=1 good luck

Everyone is proper slating them on their FB page
Some people have managed to get on and post screenshots, just seems like the cheap shitty stuff is left now (as expected TBH).

I always think it makes a company look very amateur when the site goes down with something planned like this.
Surely that counteracts any good publicity from the stunt in the first place?

Win win for them either way, people still talking about it now this late in the day, said people would of tried the website/link and visited the site (whether up or down), now it's back up those people visitors may be converted into purchases on something else on the site

Yeah its fucking stupid, people are just doing their nut on fb, the likes are going down every time you refresh. The worst thing about all of this is they have missed quite a few genuine sales from being down most of the day.
You couldn't even order on the phone today which really shows you how bad it was! When you look at the pictures of the ebuyer warehouse you really do realise the size of their operation. Sure they probably had 100s of orders from over the weekend but they ar geared up to take 1000s of orders a day in their warehouse! Probably lost loads of money the poor cunts!

I would agree, however, would this thread have been made if ebuyer site hadn't crashed, i for one have checked the page twice now and could say i more likely wouldnt have if it wasnt down

The problem wasn't entirely about people slating them because the site went down for their sale - it's also people that actually wanted to buy stuff anyway that couldn't (as willay/Nismo have said in here for example).
That Armando Sanchez guy (MD) posted up some half baked apology of sorts on there, now they are slating them for that too!
eBuyer rage!
