My gsi won't hold it's fan belt on keeps throwing it off.
When you look at the water pump pulley it seems to sit pissed to the rest of the pulleys
There is no water leaking from the pump and pulley still turns freely
When inspecting the issue I could move the water pump using a 13 mm spanner on the nut directly behind the pulley
It's really confused me so any help would be goid

The water pump isn't on the aux belt on these. It will either be the tensioner or power steering pump. Seen this a couple of times it's when people strip the thread when putting the bolts back in. If it's the tensioner there should be a long and short bolt holding it in place. Take them out and swap them and use some thread lock when putting back in. If it's the power steering pump it's the same but 3 bolts. Take them out and use thread lock and just hope there is enough thread left to hold
