tonight, going up a drive but didnt see these 1ft tall concrete stumps  , i didnt see them, so i turned into the drive, the front wheel was past the stump, then i turned full lock to avoid one on my drivers side, anyway, the car turned inwards and the concrete stump caught my passenger side wing, and dented a bit of the door, the SXi skirt came off and the plastic arch liner popped out, this is on a corsa C, just wondered how much it would be to repair?....do insurnace mind about 1st claims? i e will premium go up after just 1 claim? heres a piccy of which parts are damaged.

don't claim insurance, just fix it.
no point upping your premium etc.

Get a closer pic posted up. If its not that bad take it to a bodyshop, it shouldn't cost that much to sort something small.

thats not the pic! thats example of location of damage lol, there is a dent in the door, dent to the bottom of the wing, the skirt and plastic arch liners came off too

save for a bit n get black bits color coded with the dented bits done

my gran drove my car onto the drive and took half the wall wiv her on my passenger side just behind the door on the C. dented the panel and took the black arch thing off too, 4got what the quote was 4 the damage, but i no i had to pay £50 excess. cudn't make my gran pay it lol got it back a few days l8a. gd as new.

Sorry mate - - IMO dont go through insurance, theres a really good bosy shop near me, thats cheap also...... Give me a shout if you wanna pop down so he can give you a quote

yeh, but my excess is £400, will it affect next yrs premium om a 1st claim?..also roughly how much much am i loooking at?

well cheapest quoye i have is £680
this includes:
new passenger door (£150)
new passenger side front wing(£65)
new arch spat(£22)
13 hours labour at £20/hour
paint and materials(£140)
sound about right? and repair the A pillar by pullin it out, the guy says the frame on door is bent so will need a new one..is he right?.. i went 2 2 bodyshop, 2 say the door can be bent back 2 say i need new 1 :S

Defo come see the guy in driff - he it a top bloke and dounbt he will charge that much - Let me know if you wanna come down as I will take you there,  as IMO that sounds dear

thats cheapest out of them 4....and the door is replace, the 2 others charge more and the door aint replaced..
