A friend of mine found an iPhone the other day and has given it too my mrs, I tried taking to usual mobile unblocking stall today at market and he said that the network has blocked it.

Is there anyway of removing this block ??

You cannot unblock it, it will never work within the EU, period.
Worth very little on eBay.

It will work in the EU, just not the country its blocked in
