Hello.
I'm in need of a new laptop, as the one I have is over four years old and its not quick enough for what I need any more, as well as it sounding like its about to die.
I'm looking to spend around £500 and want one with half decent performance. Not bothered if its Intel or AMD processor, but would prefer a standalone graphics card rather than an integrated one. Must have minimum 500gb HD, but the larger the better, likewise with the more RAM, the better.
I don't use it for massive amounts of gaming, mainly listening to music, watching films and converting films over for my iPad and iPhone.
Where are the best offers at the moment, and what should I be looking to avoid? Its been a long time since I actually looked around at all the different specs and stuff, so i'm really out of date.
Any suggestions for good laptops?
