Yes, search on google temporary insurance and a few should pop up 
Though know T&C's are quite different like age etc so best check.

I think you can get Day, Week or Month insurance. Ive had Day insurance on many occasions before.

Useful aswell for eg: if picking up a potential project car, week ins on it, pick it up, drive home, garage it
